Discord Integration Guide

Connect Discord to RiftSurge for real-time notifications and seamless team communication.

1. Go to Profile → Integrations
2. Click Connect Discord
3. Authorize RiftSurge in the Discord popup
4. You'll receive a DM confirming the connection

Once connected, you'll get Discord DMs for:

• Scrim confirmations and reminders
• Match results and analysis ready notifications
• Team invitations
• Weekly AI insights (Challenger tier)

1. Go to Profile → Integrations
2. Click Disconnect next to Discord
3. You can reconnect anytime

Team owners and managers can connect their Discord server for team-wide notifications.

1. Go to Team Settings → Integrations
2. Click Add to Discord Server
3. Select your team's Discord server
4. Grant the required permissions
5. Choose a notification channel

The RiftSurge bot needs:

• Send Messages - To post notifications
• Embed Links - For rich notification cards
• Read Message History - For notification threading

After connecting, select which channel receives notifications:

1. In Team Settings → Integrations, find "Discord Server"
2. Click the channel dropdown
3. Select your preferred channel (e.g., #scrims, #announcements)
4. Save changes

Your server channel will receive:

• Scrim Updates: New scrims scheduled, confirmations, reminders
• Match Results: Game outcomes with quick stats
• Roster Changes: New members joining the team
• AI Insights: Weekly team performance summaries (Challenger tier)

Get notified about upcoming Clash tournaments automatically.

1. Go to Team Settings → Notifications
2. Toggle on Clash Tournament Alerts
3. Set your reminder preferences:
   • 24 hours before
   • 1 hour before
   • 15 minutes before

Clash notifications include:

• Tournament dates and times
• Lock-in reminders
• Results after each bracket stage

1. Check your Discord privacy settings allow DMs from server members
2. Verify RiftSurge is authorized in Discord Settings → Authorized Apps
3. Try unlinking and relinking your account

1. Verify the bot has permission to post in the selected channel
2. Check that the channel isn't set to "announcement only"
3. Try selecting a different channel

If the bot appears offline:

• Notifications are still queued and will be delivered when restored
• Check our status page for any outages

• We only access your Discord user ID and avatar
• We never read your messages or server content
• You can revoke access anytime from Discord Settings → Authorized Apps
